Lilac Breasted Roller

The Colours of the Lilac-Breasted Roller!

I Love the Colours of the Lilac-breasted Roller!

What a magnificent bird, and fortunately they are superabundant in the bush… all year round! I love to see them perched high up alongside the road, utilizing their high vantage point to reveal their next meal! I took these photos this June in Kruger National Park, but recently learned that the Lilac-breasted Roller is the national bird of Kenya!
